Over the years, I've started shifting toward conscious consumption. I used to be an excessive shopper (I still do love to shop), but I find myself getting more and more selective and responsible with the purchases I do make.

This eventually inspired me to start my little shop selling durable handmade home goods. Yes, you can buy something that looks similar from many big corporations for a fraction of the price, but I can guarantee you it will not last as long as something that was carefully handmade with durable fibres. Not to mention, when you buy handmade, you're getting something that was made with love and intention and you're directly supporting individuals and families, rather than big unethical companies. 

So here it is: a list featuring some of my favourite women's clothing shops. Mostly in Canada, and some from around the world. Most shops practice slow fashion and are either small batch, ethically made, sustainably made, or carry a carefully curated selected (or maybe all of the above).
